TFTP Client App Reviews

12 Customer Reviews:

The firmware on my Netgear Universal wifi internet adapter WNCE2001 got corrupted (flashing green power light) probably due to a power surge. I used the app to reflash the Netgear firmware and the program worked perfectly.

This app doesn’t work the way the positive reviews try to get you to believe. There’s a far better free version out there that’s opensource that actually works. Google it, you’ll find it. Don’t waste your money. I’ll be requesting a refund for this junk.

This little piece of software just helped me "unbrick" my WGR614v9 Netgear router after a bad firmware upgrade. I know OS X Terminal has a TFTP client built into it, but TFTP Client is much more easy to use. Many thanks to the developer!

my own fault!

Was looking for a TFTP server…what would one possible do with this?

Tried to upload a file, but the app says error: file does not exist. Even though the file does exist and I used the "file" button to select it. Total waste of money.

I was really hoping it would at least let me choose the destination directory. Guess not. Another $1.99 wasted. Should have just stuck with the command line.

Did the job!

I don’t know much about this TFTP stuff, but I was stumped while trying to update my Netgear router with terrible documentation. THIS WORKED!

It doesn’t work. I downloaded this app to test my tftp server and it can’t even send packets to localhost. Can’t specify port. Terrible piece of software and the developer should be ashamed.

After installing the wrong version of DD-WRT on my router Asus RT-AC66U. I was able to upload the right version using this program. Saved me over $130 from buying a new router.

I have 5 Ubiquity radios that had DDWRT software installed on them. Purchased this program and in just a few steps was able to put AirOS back on them. Very easy and saved well over $900 not having to replace them. Thank you!!
